Sponsored by the Julian Chamber of Commerce, Taste of Julian offers participants the opportunity to sample local menus including appetizers, entrees, beverages and desserts from many of the finest establishments in Julian. Tickets are limited and are $25 per person, available through the Julian Chamber of Commerce and on the event website at www.ATasteofJulian.com. There will also be a limited number of $30 tickets sold on a first-come, first-served basis at Town Hall the day of the event. Free parking will be available for attendees at the lot at 4th and B. “Your ticket is your passport to come up to Julian and sample unique specialties from our most popular locations,” explains Tracy Turner of the Julian Chamber of Commerce. Of course, you’ll be able to sample our world-famous apple pie, but you’ll see that there’s a lot more in Julian to satisfy and delight your appetite.” Taste of Julian ticket holders will check-in at Town Hall on April 8th and receive colored identification wristbands along with a map of participating venues. The self-guided tour allows you to enjoy the unique atmospheres of each of the Taste of Julian participants between 1-5pm, at your own pace and in any order you choose. While you’re sampling the local cuisine, be sure to learn more about Julian’s rich history, browse through its charming shops, and enjoy this old-fashioned ambiance.Taste of Julian is a fundraiser to benefit the Julian Chamber of Commerce and the proceeds are used to enhance and protect Julian’s historic district.
